Short biography
Graduated in hydraulic sanitary engineering, phD in environmental engineering at the Technical University of Milano. Professor of Circular and Sustainable Waste Management at the university of Padova. Advisor for Africa and the Cooperation for the Development of the university of Padova.
Coordinator of the National PhD Program in Scientific, Technological and Social Methods Enabling Circular Economy, Director of the CEWMS, Center for Circular Economy and Sustainability Studies at the University of Padua, and Director of the ELEA, Low Tech Circular Economy Europe/Africa first-level master’s program funded by the European Union.
She combines research on circular economy and waste management with a passion for Africa. Her research focuses on sustainable waste and wastewater management and the closure of material cycles (End of Waste, End of Life, and sustainable landfill).
