Short biography

Prof. Dr. Žaneta Stasiškienė is a Professor and Chief Researcher in environmental engineering and sustainability management, with more than thirty years of experience in science–industry collaboration, research-based innovation, and capacity building for sustainable transitions. Since 2017 she has served as the Director of the Institute of Environmental Engineering at Kaunas University of Technology (KTU), where she leads interdisciplinary research and education on climate change mitigation, circular economy, industrial ecology, and sustainable urban development 
Her work focuses on developing and implementing methodologies for industrial sustainability assessment, environmental risk management, environmental management accounting, and sustainability-driven business models.
