Short biography
Professor Salhofer earned a master in Civil Engineering and Water Management at BOKU University Vienna, Austria (1988) and a Degree in Environmental Engineering at the Vienna University of Technology and BOKU University (1993). From 1992 to 2002 he worked as an assistant professor at BOKU University and earned a PhD in 1995. Since 2002 he is Associated Professor at BOKU University. In 2008 and 2009 he acted as Head of Science at the center of excellence KERP Research “Electronics and Environment” in Vienna. After returning to BOKU University he became Deputy head of Institute (2016).
Throughout his career, Professor Salhofer lead numerous projects in the national, European and international context on waste and resource management and life cycle assessment. For details click here
