Short biography
Prof. Marina Prisciandaro earned her MS degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Naples Federico II (Italy) and holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering. She is a Full Professor of Chemical Plants at the Department of Industrial and Information Engineering and Economics (DIIIE) at L’Aquila University (Italy). She leads the Laboratory of Chemical Plants, where she manages an R&D group focused on developing solutions for managing industrial and civil wastewater, emphasizing pollutant removal, by-product recovery, and water reuse within a circular economy framework. Professor Prisciandaro has successfully led several research projects funded by the Italian government and the European Commission throughout her career, including an EU LIFE programme.
